Wrinkle Treatment Options

At Choice Dermatology, Dr. Mark Meulener and his team offer several treatments that can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. If you're wondering what you can do to look your best, come in and consult with us to see how we can boost your confidence with wrinkle treatments!

Botox

Botox is recommended to soften the appearance of lines and wrinkles around the mouth and forehead. Botox injections are made from the botulinum toxin in a safe and refined form and administered with a small needle. The toxin paralyzes the facial muscles so they are forced to relax and when the muscles are relaxed, the skin over them appears smoother. You will see the complete results of the injections in about a week.

Dermal fillers

Dermal fillers are injected into the skin at different depths to improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles and add facial volume. The dermal fillers we use are by Juvéderm. Different types of filler are used to target different areas. Volbella targets fine lines around the sensitive area of the mouth. Vollure XC is used to fill in lines around the lips and can also be used to create fuller lips. Voluma is a dermal filler that is used in the cheek area to give the appearance of fuller cheeks.

Chemical peels

If you are unsure about injections but still want to treat your skin, we offer chemical peels. A chemical peel eliminates the dull and damaged top layer of skin. It's a simple and pain-free procedure that can soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and also improves the tone and texture of the skin.
